A lovely day

A lovely day was had. I exercised this morning, met a dear friend for coffee, napped early afternoon and had a Thanksgiving outing this evening in support of a treatment center with another dear friend. I can’t think of a better way to express gratitude. Truly blessed to have so many good friends in my life. Good day. The only complaint I have is that my housework is taking a hit with all this extra sleeping. Tomorrow will be my chance to get caught up. I will sleep in and then go to it. Laundry, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and washing. I really need to do my windows. Tomorrow is a nice day to get them done. I’ll let you know how my follow thru went on that tomorrow night.

Beadwork, I have barely touched my bead station in the six months I’ve been doing the Wahls Protocol. All my energy has been channeled into the physical changes required on the protocol. Beading, mostly  jewelry making, is a creative meditative practice for me. Its time for me to get back into it. I have the idea of one necklace in formation and two thirds through the completion of another necklace needing to be finished. It will be interesting to see how my right hand does now that the carpal tunnel surgery is healed. After about 30 minutes of beading I would need to periodically stop beading and shake my numb hand out to revive the feeling. Since I’ve discontinued use of my cane since the surgery, I don’t have that test, my hand having gone numb when walking with the cane. Typing is definitely better. So, need to put my hand to the beading test. That is also a goal tomorrow. If I can get three hours of housework done and devote two hours to beading, that will be a fruitful day. Key in Rocky music…..!      Sleeeeeeep, no Rocky music, sleeeeep, Rocky music, no sleep, Rocky music, sleeeeep!

Rocky music!
