These were yummy. This is a taste I thought I’d never enjoy again. This is what I did:
- Bison ground beef
- Simply Organic Spicy Taco Mix (purchased at the Natural Market I frequent)
- Fresh diced tomato
- Half an avocado cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- Diced raw onion
- Large sturdy lettuce leaves (I used Romaine)
- Salsa and full fat canned coconut milk drizzled on top
This will be a meal a couple times a month. Very good. Soda is another experience I thought I’d never enjoy and I was wrong again. Fermented Kombucha Tea is just like drinking a soda, but super good for you. I found one that I can afford:
$4.99 CAD at Safeway. Food is taken away, then returned in ways that I can have it and be right on track. It does take time to learn of all these different things, methods, recipes, ideas, sciences. Its quite an education. At least it has been for me. I’ve needed to learn all these things (still learning) and then source them out. But as I sip this ice cold naturally carbonated beverage that is healing my gut on this 32 C/90 F day, I am feeling blessed. Its the little things.
At the post office is waiting for me a book on all things fermented along with my desiccated liver pills . Excited. I’ll take a picture of the book and put it on the blog tomorrow and I’ll update my recipe page (been awhile).
